Please review the terms and conditions below carefully before boarding your pets at Bonnievale Kennels. By using our services, you agree to these terms.
- These standard Conditions are the sole agreement between the Owner of the Pet(s) boarded & Bonnievale Kennels and its proprietors. The agreement shall remain in force from the date the pet(s) are booked into the kennels until the date they are collected by the Owner or his authorised representative.
- Bonnievale Kennels will do their best to ensure the welfare and health of your pet.
- The owner acknowledges, agrees and confirms, by signing overleaf that he has read and is familiar with these conditions. Furthermore, that no liability, action or claim will be instituted against Bonnievale Kennels or the Proprietor in respect of any loss, injury or damage to the Owner's Pet(s) or leads, collars or any other items.
- The amount due by the owner will be calculated by using the rate set out overleaf applied to the Boarding Period plus any additional charges incurred (e.g., bath, flea treatment, special foods, damage properties).
- Boarding Period Calculation: Night of entry, regardless of time booked in, will be charged as night 1 of boarding period.
- In the event of non-payment or breach of terms:
- The full amount outstanding shall immediately become due.
- Bonnievale Kennels does not run any accounts.
- All legal costs for recovery shall be for the owner's account.
- The proprietors reserve the right to dispose of the animal(s) to recover costs if necessary.
- Account Credit & Refund Policy:
- No Cash Refunds: All refunds are issued as account credit only. No cash, card, or EFT refunds will be processed under any circumstances. Account credit may be used toward future bookings.
- Cancellation Credit: If a booking is cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled check-in date and payment has already been made, the full paid amount will be credited to the Owner's account. Cancellations made within 24 hours of check-in will result in forfeiture of the payment amount.
- Booking Modification Credit: If a booking is shortened after payment has been made, the difference between the original and revised amount may be credited to the Owner's account at the discretion of Bonnievale Kennels management.
- Discount Credit: If a discount is applied to a booking after payment has been made and the new total is less than the paid amount, the difference will automatically be credited to the Owner's account.
- Credit Redemption: Account credits are automatically applied to future bookings before any additional payment is required. Credits do not expire, are non-transferable, and cannot be converted to cash.
- The Pet Owner authorises utilisation of vet services in Robertson / Swellendam if required. All veterinary charges plus transportation costs shall be for the account of the Owner.
- The owner warrants that the animals have been vaccinated for distemper virus, parvovirus, and kennel cough (for dogs), or FVRCP (for cats), and rabies. Tick and flea treatment is recommended prior to boarding.
- The proprietor is authorised to house the animal(s) with compatible companions if it poses no threat to welfare.
- The owner warrants that all information provided is true and correct and has not withheld any information that would influence acceptance or care of the pet(s).
- The owner shall be responsible for all acts of the animal(s) and any damage caused by or through it.
- These terms constitute the sole agreement between the parties. No variation shall be of force unless reduced to writing and signed.
